Ray also teaches theory, composition and music production at the same rates. Email if interested.

* Single lessons may be used for introductory lessons, brush-up lessons, or to fill in for summer months and are paid weekly.

♦︎ Subscription & extended packages reserve weekly time slots and will be automatically charged at the first of each month.     In lieu of make-up lessons, months with 5-lessons/weeks will not incur additional charges.  This policy encourages                     consistent student attendance and alleviates scheduling and payment confusion.

Ray Schnurr earned his music theory and composition degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and his Master's Certificate in Film Scoring from UCLA, afterwhich he spent over 25 years working as a professional composer, arranger, and orchestrator/conductor in Los Angeles, California. He has worked for a variety of different film studios and production companiew including Disney, Sony, and Warner Bros where he was a part of many studio film projects including Matrix Trilogy, Home for the Holidays, Amazing Race, and more. He has written many orchestral arrangements, which have been performed by professional orchestras across the United States, including the LA Phil, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the Florida Symphony Orchestra. You may find his original music on your favorite music ap (Souncloud, Sotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and more). Ray has been teaching piano, composition and conductiong for over 25 years. He enjoys teaching students of all ages and musical levels. Ray encourages his students to enjoy learning music by first working with the student to play or compose the type of music they love, then encourages them to explore new musical adventures, which strengthens their unique musical gifts and skills. Ray believes learning should be fun as well as challenging, and always has skittles on hand for those with a sweet-tooth! Come join the fun!
